The Floating Bookstore has docked in Manila!

The Doulos Hope, a ship full of books for sale, has docked in Manila Port Area.

The ship, operated by GBA Ships, is known for its Christian and children’s books sold to international readers all over the world.

Coming from Bangkok, Thailand, The Doulos Hope has four stops in its Philippine tour. Manila is its third port of call.

From Subic Bay, Olongapo (Feb.10-March 5) to San Fernando, La Union (March 6-March 26), Manila-based readers can rejoice that the ship is now here in the capital, until April 14, 2024, when it sails to Batangas for two weeks before leaving for Hong Kong.

Visitors are welcome every day of the week except Mondays.

On Tuesdays to Thursdays, readers can come between 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with the last reader being allowed on board at 5:00 PM. 

From Fridays to Sundays, visitors may board from 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with the last visitor allowed on board at 7:00 PM.

There is an entry fee of P50.00 per for adults and children 13 and up, payable by cash upon entry. Online booking is required.

Entrance is free for children below the age of 12, and senior citizens 60 and up. However, online booking is required for them as well.

Readers may pay for purchases via cash and credit card.

The ship is currently docked at 5th Street, Manila Port Area.
